Mapesil AC is a pure, mould-resistant acetic-cure silicone sealant featuring advanced BioBlock® technology to prevent mould growth. Designed for movement joints up to ±25%, it provides strong, durable and flexible sealing for glass, ceramic and anodised aluminium surfaces. Solvent-free and highly elastic, Mapesil AC delivers long-term performance in wet areas, swimming pools and high chemical or thermal exposure environments.

It remains flexible from -40°C to +180°C, making it suitable for both internal and external applications.

Application

• Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and dust-free

• Insert backer rod (Mapefoam) where required

• Cut nozzle at 45° and apply evenly

• Tool off with soapy water before skin forms
