Shipping policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all orders placed with LETAP Pty Ltd (ABN 72 155 195 716) trading as Malaga Tile Centre ("Malaga Tile Centre", "we", "us", or "our"). This policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service.


Delivery Area – Western Australia Only

Malaga Tile Centre currently provides delivery within Western Australia (WA) only.

  • We do not offer interstate or international delivery.

  • Delivery availability is subject to location access, order size, and transport availability.


Delivery Options & Costs

Delivery costs are calculated based on:

  • Order size and weight

  • Number of pallets required

  • Delivery location and access conditions

Due to the weight and fragile nature of tiles, deliveries are arranged using specialized transport providers equipped to handle palletized goods.

Please contact our team to confirm delivery availability and pricing before placing your order.


Dispatch Dates & Estimated Delivery Times

Customers may request a preferred dispatch date; however:

  • All dispatch dates and estimated delivery times (ETAs) are guides only

  • Delivery times may vary due to supplier availability, transport schedules, weather conditions, or unforeseen delays

Delivery dates are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.


Order Tracking

Due to the use of specialized transport providers and palletized freight, online tracking is generally not available.

For delivery updates or ETA confirmation, customers must contact Malaga Tile Centre directly.


Authority to Leave (ATL)

Unless otherwise instructed in writing prior to dispatch, deliveries may be made under Authority to Leave (ATL) where the driver considers it safe.

Malaga Tile Centre is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to goods left unattended at the delivery address.

If signature-on-delivery or special delivery instructions are required, this must be advised before dispatch.


Delivery Access, Handling & Placement

Due to the weight, size, and fragile nature of tile products, Malaga Tile Centre does not encourage manual handling of tiles.

  • Tile deliveries are made to ground level only

  • Delivery is typically to a garage, driveway, or another safe and accessible unloading area

  • We do not deliver tiles inside houses, apartments, or buildings

  • Delivery drivers are not permitted to carry tiles by hand into internal areas

Customers are responsible for arranging internal movement or placement of tiles after delivery.

Small and lightweight items only (such as trims, accessories, or tools) may be delivered to an alternative location on the property at the owner’s request, provided the area is safe and accessible.


Pallet & Vehicle Requirements

  • Tiles and fragile items are delivered on pallets

  • Pallet deliveries are typically made using tailgate trucks

  • A forklift must be available onsite unless otherwise arranged

Pallets and packaging materials are not returnable and must be disposed of by the customer in accordance with local regulations.


Pick-Up / Customer Collection

Customer collection is available from Malaga Tile Centre’s warehouse once the order has been confirmed as ready.

Customers must inspect all goods prior to leaving the premises. Once goods are collected, Malaga Tile Centre is not liable for transport-related damage or shortages.


Large Orders & Special Delivery Requirements

For large or bulk orders, customers must contact Malaga Tile Centre prior to ordering.

Please advise if:

  • Delivery is to a commercial or industrial site

  • A forklift is available onsite

  • There are access restrictions (narrow access, steep driveways, time windows, etc.)

Additional charges may apply for failed delivery attempts, re-delivery, or waiting time caused by access issues.


Inspection on Delivery

All goods must be checked immediately upon delivery.

Any claims for damaged, incorrect, or short-delivered goods must be reported to Malaga Tile Centre within 2 business days of delivery or collection.

Tiles that have been installed or laid are deemed accepted and are not eligible for claims.


Important Notes

  • Tiles are a fragile building product, and minor transport damage may occur

  • Delivery personnel are not responsible for site safety beyond unloading

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure safe access and suitable unloading conditions
