Description

Bostik Dampfix WPM Undertile is a one-component, water-based polyurethane waterproofing membrane designed for under-tile applications in internal and external wet areas. It is a Class 3 high-elasticity membrane that requires no mixing and is reinforced with clump-free fibres for consistent film build and durability. Once cured, it provides excellent resistance to detergents and bleach, will not re-emulsify, and does not embrittle with age. The membrane complies with AS/NZS 4858 and meets installation requirements of AS/NZS 3740 and AS/NZS 4654.2 when applied correctly.

Recommended Uses

• Waterproofing membrane under tiles for internal wet areas including showers, bathrooms, kitchens, laundries and toilets (AS/NZS 3740)

• Waterproofing membrane under tiles or other wearing surfaces for external balconies, rooftops and podium levels (AS/NZS 4654.2)

• Suitable substrates include:

  • Concrete

  • Cement rendered masonry

  • Fibre cement sheeting

  • Water-resistant plasterboard

  • Structural plywood (Type A stamped “PAA JAS-ANZ” to AS/NZS 2269-2004)
